Wine Industry Skills Assessment
At the request of the Washington Wine Commission, FutureWorks has launched an analysis of new and changing skill requirements in the Washington wine industry. With advantageous weather and soils for premium grapes in Eastern Washington, the number of wineries in the state has doubled in five years and production has soared; Washington now produces more wine than any other state except California. FutureWorks will examine labor force supply and demand issues and recommend education and training policies to support continued growth in this important economic sector.
